This privacy policy covers Next Generation Consulting's treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on our site, and when you use our services. This policy also applies to Next Generation Consulting's treatment of any personally identifiable information that our business partners share with us. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to people that we do not employ or manage.
Information Collection and Use
We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit or use our pages. We may also receive personally identifiable information from our business partners. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page you requested. We may use this information for the following general purposes: to customize the content you see, to fulfill your requests for certain services and information, to bring you special offers that may be of interest to you and to contact you.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or resell your personally identifiable information to third parties for their own marketing or any unrelated purposes.
We may share your personally identifiable information with other companies or people only in the following limited circumstances:
- To Provide Requested Services: We share information as necessary to fulfill the product or service you have requested (e.g., with telephony providers, cloud platforms, or Microsoft services for Microsoft Teams integration, SMS messaging, or cloud fax, etc.).
- With Service Providers: We may provide information to trusted companies who work on our behalf to deliver services to you (e.g., IT support vendors or payment processors). These companies are contractually obligated to use the information solely to assist us and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information in response to subpoenas, court orders, legal process, or to establish/exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
- Business Protection: We may share information if we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, violations of our Terms of Service, or as otherwise required to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, users, or others.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, but it will remain subject to this Privacy Policy (or an equivalent policy with notice provided).
All sharing is conducted in compliance with applicable laws, including TCPA and state privacy regulations.
SMS and Text Messaging
As part of our Microsoft Teams Phone System and unified communications services, we (Next Generation Consulting) and/or our clients may offer two-way SMS/MMS text messaging capabilities for low-volume conversational communication with customers (e.g., responding to inquiries, customer service, and support messages).
- Consent and Opt-In: By providing your mobile phone number and opting in (e.g., via web form, verbal agreement during a call, or replying to a message), you consent to receive text messages related to services from us or from our clients using numbers we manage. Consent is not a condition of purchase and applies only to conversational messages.
- Message Types and Frequency: Messages will be conversational in nature. Frequency varies based on your interactions (typically low-volume; no more than a few messages per month unless initiated by you).
- Charges: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
- Opt-Out: You can opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to any message (this will stop messages from the specific program/number). You may also text "HELP" for assistance.
- Data Sharing: We may share your personal information, including phone number and SMS consent status, with third-party service providers (such as telephony platforms and carriers) solely to deliver and manage these messaging services for us and our clients. We will not sell, share, or transfer your SMS opt-in consent or related data to any third party for purposes unrelated to providing the requested messaging services, including marketing or promotional purposes by unaffiliated parties.
- Privacy: All messaging complies with applicable laws (e.g., TCPA, CTIA guidelines). Your information is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
